I almost cried

Yes, me. I almost cried. I almost cried today when Mia gave our family prayer. She did it all on her own today. It went something like this:
Dear Heavenly Father
Thank you for today
please help mommy to get a baby in her tummy
thank you for my puppies and babies.
and that the puppies have food to eat and be good
and a little more about her puppies and babies. . .

Seriously! I am counting on the faith of a child here! PLEASE! :) But it is so cute to see what is important in her life. Her babies and mine. :) Luv ya Mia!

Thank you Mia & "Smart Cookie" Kaylee

Today, while at the grocery store I was thinking out loud and said, "ok, need to get cream cheese, choc. chips and grapes and we are done." (all great sale items of course. That is how I make my grocery list, take the add, circle sale items and go . . .problem is . . .) "Mommy, we need bread too, " Mia added. "Oh yes, we do THANK YOU Mia!" I was shocked at her processing. TWO days ago, when i made the last sandwich out of the bread and explained I need to get more bread. . . she deduces this. Seriously needed some too, would have forgotten. THANK YOU Mia!

Driving out of the parking lot, Mia tells me she wants to go home. "We will Mia, and then we will put away the groceries and get ready to go on the boat." I explained. "Mom, but first we need to go get our life jackets." Mia replied. Oh, and yes, we did. In fact, I went TO the grocery store today in stead of tomorrow - just to make the trip to grandmas, were we left the jackets, more worth the drive! Obviously I am loosing my mind, but if I recited what we plan to do for the day, my 4 year old can help keep me on track!

(I have told the story to several people, Mia has caught on, and is quite proud!)

Sitting in the boat with Kaylee, we bust out some cookies. I break one to share with Kaylee and naturally (since she is messier) give Kaylee the smaller piece. She hands me the piece I give her and says, "This is for YOU mom" hands me her small piece and takes the bigger piece off my lap! Smartie or crook? Hmmmm Two min later, we go for a second cookie. She eats her's down to a bite, I haven't touch my half. She hands me her bite left and tells me it is "for mommy" and takes my half off my lap.

Smart cookie, crook or trained by her daddy so mommy doesn't get fat??? :) he he Gotta Love kids!

Can I be so proud?

Can I just be proud of my little 2 1/2 year old Kaylee? Seriously, how cute is this? It was just a blank notebook on the table, but she has obviously written me a story. Paragraphs and all! Can you see that! I am just amazed at how she stays in the lines and tries to write little words. She first did this about 4 months ago, and has just gotten better and better. I love it! I wonder if she would read me the story she wrote! :)

Um and yeah, she has just picked this up from watching me. Mia doesn't even do this. WOW! Little sponges!

Bloggin, facebook, technology

So let me first say what is up with you people that make me type in some random word when I leave comments on your page? I know, I know, they are to keep "spam" commenters out. How about this. Change your setting so that it is easier for me to share the love, and IF YOU GET some crazy spam, then you can change your settings back. :) I have never had a blog commenting stocker. :) or spammer. :) Give me some love.

Have you ever said something on facebook or blogging or instant messaging what ever - that you wouldn't have said to the person in real life? Seriously I just had 2 instances of a 2 different friends trying to pick fights with me on facebook. I even tried to change the subject to show I was not trying to go "there" and they go right back to it. Seriously, I can honestly say I can't think of a time when I said something on the internet to someone that I wouldn't say to the person. (I mean I am sure that I have said something ABOUT someone ) But what I say to the person on facebook etc I would SOOOO say to their face. Are people just meaner on the internet or what? Or can they not pick up my sarcasim. . . Seriously these are "fights" that I would have NEVER gotten into with the person in real life. Anyways - just curious. . .

Lastly, this leads me to a comment on my friends blog. Maybe it IS because they need a sarcasim font. Maybe then we could behave the same on a keyboard as we would in real life??

Personally, I just assume they get my sarcasim or my love. Maybe I am wrong. :)

How socially retarded do you think our kids will be in the future, because of such technology?

It is a joke at our house because we will drive HOURS like 12 -24 to see my sister and she will just text people - instead of hang out with us. It's almost as if she forgot how to interact. (Ok, it really prob. was mostly because it was her boyfriend she was texting and I refuse to make out with my sister. SEE whole last sentance - UN needed if I had sarcastic font. Actually I would need Very sarcastic and Semi sarcastic (cause it is mostly true) Fonts. ;)

3 NEW POSTS! ALL TODAY! :)

So I just have some cute pic of Mia and Kaylee that I want to post. :) One is of Kaylee when I put her hair in curlers :) I was curious. :)

SWORD FIGHTS!

Just have to post this video - so cute! :) I will spare you the longer one where Mia pouts because Mom helps Kaylee win. :) WOW we need to work on sportsmanship. :) he he. I think the video is cute.

While I am waiting for the video to upload - a Mia Story. She is so sweet. We call her our "caretaker" she just wants to help and take care of her babies all day every day. Anyways, we had told her about being pregnant and she was excited that we would get the baby "after Christmas and Easter". Well, when we lost the baby, I tried to explain it to her as best as I could. Today she said, "Mommy, why did the baby in your tummy get sick?" I told her that I didn't know. Mia replied, "I am sad, I wanted to see that baby." How sweet is that?

LIKE A RAINBOW -

I just like to sing the Cindy Lopper True Color song especially the part "like a rainbow" when I see these pictures:

Looks so white trash orphan here ! :)

So what happened? I honestly don't know. She was in her bedroom, I heard a LOUD crash and a REAL cry and I went running. Not sure what she hit or what she was doing. . . but she fell on something some how. . .

Do you think CPS will buy it? JK

The President's speech

So, I have never been one into politics, but this President has his own agenda and is frankly scaring me. There are many things I can go off about. But I will put my focus on two of my most main concerns.

First. To all of my dear girlfriends who don't like politics etc. I was with you. But I greatly fear that if we don't get informed and take a stand NOW. It will be too late. We all know that it has been prophetically told that one day the government will hang by a thread. I do believe that if we don't get informed and take action - that day will be at our door, perhaps sooner than needed.

I was not against Obama at first. I did not support him, but I didn't fear what he would do really as a president as I have with the last election. BUT, I now am very convinced of his sly words and sneaky tactics. My hubby warned me of the lack of patriotism of both he and his wife before the election. . . I am seeing so much of the scary truth.

So my first point is PLEASE get in formed. We need all the busy moms to be working for the future of our children, instead of leaving it to the scary masses - in the Book of Mormon, the city would go to pot when the majority of the people were wayward. I fear that now. We need to find our voice. NO EXCUSES. It is of upmost importance.

My second thing focus is the heath care issues being pushed. Last night in his address, the Pres. was called a Liar when he said that his health care would not kill of the senior citizens. Although they will not be lined up before a firing squad, they will be neglected. It is simple mathematics. If the government owns health care, and grandma needs an expensive surgery that may only prolong her a few years, it is not "money wise" and I promise that it will.

True story about my grand father in law. He lived in Canada - with a gov. run health care system. He was in a "nursing home" and had this growth beginning on his nose. It took FOREVER (6 + months) for him to get into see a doctor. When he did the doctor did nothing. The growth continued to grow until it was about 2 1/2 inches off of his nose in a cone like shape. It happened to drive another senior man in the home crazy. One day the other man just reached up and ripped the thing off. It bled and bled. They tended to the wound. It didn't matter what it was, he was dying anyways. TRUE STORY.

All I know is that I don't want my mother to be treated that way, and I don't want to be treated that way. There is nothing good that can come from a government run healthcare system. It's like having a monopoly on the market. Prices WILL SKYROCKET because you and I will be paying for every sniffle of every person, working or not. You will wait endlessly to get into doctors. And we will have to pray that the good doctors stay here. In Canada most of the good doctors move to the US because they can make more money.

Don't take my word for it. DO YOUR RESEARCH. and let me know what you find.

I'm not potty trained, but I can run a "computer"

This is my 2 1/2 year old daughter entertaining herself with her dads I pod touch for nearly 2 hours. Look at her little intent face. I find it amazing that she knows how to work the thing! :) HMMM she can run a "computer" bur refuses to be potty trained. . . .
Mom used to give me a paper and come color crayons. We give our kid a 200 dollar mini computer that has a simulated crayon and paper. :) HA! My favorite is that her tiny little fingers don't get picked up very well by the screen so she has to hit the button like 3 times ever time. She is quite cute tappin' away on it!

Today Mia asked why daddy put the baby in my tummy. (I don't think she quite realizes it's gone - I have tried to tell her) anyways, I laughed and said, "You'll have to ask your daddy." She replied, "I can't he's not here!"

It's time

It is time to let everyone know that we lost the baby today. It's hard. But I plan to go shopping tomorrow to make myself feel better, for one day. :) Dustin said something I didn't take well today. I am pretty sure it will cost him at least $50 tomorrow. I know that he didn't mean it to be rude, but he should have waited to bring it up. I am having a hard time deciding when/if I want to try for another. I haven't seen a doctor and really don't plan too. Looked into it today. They wanted $500 bucks. Yeah, for an ultra sound to tell me I was loosing the baby. NOT going to happen. I mean i have epidural couches. No way I am going through child birth with out an epidural for $900, and then pay $500 for a doctor to tell me something mother nature can. I wish my doctor had an ultra sound machine - then I would go. But I really don't know if I am even going to go at all. So - if anyone out there has lost a baby at about 6 1/2 weeks, if you can recall anything your doctor said, I will happily listen. If the Pioneers did it, so can I right? Anyways, it stinks cause I had a ton of friends that were pregnant with me. Including my sister. I am of course still really happy for all of you, but stink man. It just stinks. So the thing I need most is to keep busy. I am feeling freakishly alone and just need things to do. Hopefully I can find things soon. I know that my Savior can help take away the pain. I am just not ready to give it up yet. Sorry for the super sad post. I hate these things. :) But, I just need to let some of it out. Typing is better than writing. I have done both. A BIG thanks to my mother in law who kept me company till my hubby got home and picked up my house a bit and did some laundry. Too bad I let the kids all mess it up again cause I just don't care today. To bad I had 10 people come over to drop by money and all got to see my messy house. My dear sweet bishop dropped by to check on us. I am grateful and it was sweet. But I am still in my nightgown (which I put on fresh this morning by the way) and the house was a mess. I was mortified. But I am grateful for the gesture and kindness. I guess if he can keep confidences then maybe the Lord can bless and erase his memory of what he saw today! My poor hubby doesn't know what to do. I just want him to talk to me and hold me and get my mind off it really. Sorry to be a black cloud. Thanks for listening/reading.
